Ice Cream Cake in 15 Minutes Flat

Samwow likes chocolate, and he loves ice cream.
He absolutely flips for ice cream cake.
When I showed him this idea, there was no further discussion as
to what his birthday cake would be!
And this one isn't just ridiculously delicious, it's a breeze.
Throw the following in your shopping cart:
24 ice cream sandwiches
1 bottle of caramel ice cream topping
One 16 ounce tub of whipped topping
12 ounces of chocolate chips
6 of your son's favorite candy bars, Three Musketeers
In a large glass baking dish, set out a layer of the ice cream sandwiches.
Use mint chocolate chip, strawberry, chocolate, even fat free, or your favorite variety.
Show some self-control and do not eat this.
Start dolloping on half of the whipped topping.

Once it's in little peaks, spread it so it's even and thick

Sprinkle on half of the chocolate chips.
 Now drizzle it with caramel.
 Again, no eating.

Add another layer of ice cream sandwiches.
Don't worry if it isn't perfect, no one is ever going to know.
  Repeat the whipped topping...

 ...the chips...
 ...the...the caramel...
...and then add insult to injury with some frozen candy bars!
 Slice them up!

And layer them on!
 Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh, man!
Pop this bad boy in the freezer until it's dessert time.
 Add some candles...
...and good luck not getting mauled when you enter a room full of guests with this
amazing frozen concoction.
Feel free to play with the ingredients, add Heath Bits,
fresh strawberries, whatever sounds fun.
But make sure you add spoons and plates.
The results are well worth it.
If you'll excuse me, I think I'm having an affair.
