Last evening just after supper, we were treated to the sight every redneck girl dreams of: a big rig pulled up to my house...
...and backed into my back yard! Yes Sir, we're stylin' now! I wonder if this will land me any trendy blog awards?
The driver skillfully maneuvered past my prized cactus garden...
...and under the chicly decorative tractor trailer that has graced my partially mown lawn.
It was indeed quite a show!
And then we found out that all the moving pads evidently belong to UHaul, so we had to remove them and fold them to return.
But finally, yes finally...
...it left!!!
So as we stood as a family and gazed at the riveting sight of those tail lights growing slowly smaller, we all said,
"Hey! You're cutting it really close on the left, Pal!!!"
That's one huge container down, one to go. With that thing gone, I feel less like putting out plastic flamingos or nailing fake squirrels to a tree. I may even go take the curlers out of my hair now and take down the Christmas lights.
Yes, I'm kidding.

My heart's all aflutter! Yay that it's gone though, I'm sure you'll miss it. At least you have the photos to remember the good times.
Yeah, I figure a nice 8 by 10 color glossy over the mantle will fill the hole in my heart.
Hahaha! Plastic flamingos and Christmas lights. You crack me up. :) I bet you're happy to see it go, though!
