Halloween Rehab Roundup

Black cats cross my path on a daily basis...
...usually sporting a disdainful look that indicates the Meow Mix is low.
They like to take long naps in the sun on our vehicles. Unless the new vehicle is vertical of course.
Barring that, the dining room floor will do.
Meet Emo, the official cat of Halloween.
Here, anyway. She's ready with her review of all of our Fall Craftiness...
Oh hai. Did I scares you? Don't be frightened, Hoomin, is just Emo the cat. I am tiniest kitteh in Feline Overlord Clowder, and I want to show you what I have eated helped make this month. The Redhead with Thumbs That Open Cans, she maked some snacks decorations.
First, she dragged junk she didn't want home and made Chandelier Shade Ghosts. I has a lizard stashed in one as a surprise.
Aliens Crashed
in the dining room. A few fell on the floor. Crunchy outside, soft chewy center
The Batty things were fun, but gnawing them made the hoomins yell.
Something made her spray the
Pumpkins Blue.
I don't pretend to understand her.
She also tends to do some
Weird Things.
She says this is
Cake Plate.
I have yet to see cake.
The Sparkly Skulls
is hung too high to be any fun at all.
Lighted Scratching Posts
has since been moved somewhere "safe."
She hanged Dead Leaves
out of my claw's reach too. What fun is that?
This is where she Hides the Toilet Paper. I did not want these noms.
Empty Treat Container
with fire inside makes kitteh sad.
Like so many things she does, these
Silver Skulls
are of no use to me. I push them off table so surface is usable again.
She maked a  Girly Spider
which confusses me, since she is not so girly.
This be much more
Spooky
if I get my claws on it.
Delicious Crunchy Pumpkins
is taking up a prime nap spot. Do not want.
The small one who changes litter made
Teensy Hat.
Hoomins like to wear things to look like other things. Kittehs don't get this.
Silly White Foods
do not interest kittehs. The little acorns bounces nice on new slippery floors though.

Um, gee, thanks, Emo, for the cat's eye view of our Halloween Roundup
This is why very few felines are employed as critics I suppose.

Can't. stop. laughing!

My cat Milo is very impressed with Emo's assessment of Halloween decorations, because let's face it, everything is about the cat.

I adore your creativity with the ghost lamps and the feather boa arrangement, and I just delegated the witch's broom to my husband. (Let's see if it gets done before halloween.)

Bye - I'm off to put ghosts on my windows too! Now where did I put that poster board?

Your darling post reminds me of a quote:
There is vitality, a life force, energy, a quickening that is translated through you into action. And because there is only one of you in all time, this expression is unique and if you block it, it will never exist through any other medium and be lost. The world will not have it.
It is not your business to determine how good it is, nor how valuable, nor how it compares to other expressions. It is your business to keep the channel open. You do not even have to believe in yourself or your work. You have to keep open and aware directly to the urges that activate you.
Keep the channel open.

my goodness that's a ton of decorations. thank you for contributing your ideas to our DIY CRAFT TUTORIAL PARTY, and I was going to say 'thank you for the link back', but I guess it's a day too early for this. ;-)

Listen, a new party is opening up today: http://www.finecraftguild.com/diy-linky-party-19/ . Why not share a tutorial and grab the code for a link back at the same time. That sounds like win/win, doesn't it?!

have a lovely crafty day (looks like that's real easy for you ;-)
