Now that it's officially October, it's time to spookify a few of our everyday things, don't you think?
Especially when you find sacks of skulls for a buck at Dollar General!
Creepy, no?
There we go. That looks much less healthy.
Okay, so what else can we hit with a horrific stick?
Let's take some of the scrap glitter craft foam from our little spider wreath and sketch a terrifying face
Check the scale against your intended surface.
By the way, this particular little project is Thom's. You can tell by the manly gamer thumbs. Very buff.
Now, nab the ice bucket!
A few dots of hot glue later...and we have a bucket-o-lantern?
A little purple and green glittery wired ribbon...
...and he'll have you FROZEN with fear!
Yeah, I know, and I AM sorry. I haven't had coffee yet.

That's scary, I'm shakin' in my boots :)
Great ideas! I always struggle with holiday decorating. I don't have a lot of storage space in my home so packing my usual decorations away can be hard... doing stuff like this would allow me to have the best of both worlds!
Thanks for linking with What little boys are made of.
... bucket-0- lantern? ROFL!
1. refined cloche decor will never be the same. 2. the lantern's expression is what I really love. I imagine Thom has that exact grin (except he prob'ly has all his teeth). 3. "hit with the horrific stick" HA!
Eewww! I think I'll stick to just eating candy:)
Yours will be a spooky stop this year!
I love the apples under glass. I have several domes and this is a grand idea!
