Sneak Peek: Tell Me What You Think

Okay, last weekend we did this. And I love the results.

But we still have to deal with this.
And this.

You see my pillows. They have the shades you've seen for over a hundred posts now, with splashes of aqua, spa blue, and apple green. They're all in the wash right now, coming out fresh and bright. What I need is a little help on colors for the furniture itself.
I'd like this space to have a Caribbean vibe. Should I paint the furniture all white to match...

...or take a few risks like I did here.

I'm into this, I can't help it. I'm in Miami. It's the tropics.

So what do YOU think? Leave me a comment before I hit the paint store! I need opinions from both of my readers!

I could be totally off, but I'd paint the wicker black and the airondeck (sp?) chairs one of the accent colors in your pillows. I don't live in Miami (but I have been there a few times and know what you mean with the Miami colors) but around the midwest I keep seeing black wicker outdoor furniture everywhere! Which I've always thought was strange if the furniture was in the sun... wouldn't it get hot? But yours doesn't look like it would be. Anyways, I can't wait to see them finished, I'm sure they'll look great with whatever you decide to paint them! :)

Thanks for the input, Chelsea...and truth be told, I WAS looking at the gloss black this morning too. My dining room furniture and office furniture is all black with the bright color pops as accents. Decisions! Decisions!

I agree with Chelsea on the black for the wicker. Every room needs a bit of black (read that somewhere), it's a great backdrop for bright pops of color.
