Fear of color? NONE. That's how I roll.
I apologize for the lack of before pictures, but close your eyes and picture this: a free-cycled armoire with good bones you could see from space. It was solid wood, Thomasville, and sheathed in the most God awful peeling cream and gold imaginable. But it was perfect for baby number 3, and it went in her
room, storing tiny clothes...
Until tiny clothes became Trips from Hot Topic. Yo. That's when we sanded and spray painted it in Lavender, Grape, and used a little Key Lime for the drawer pulls. The door hardware we replaced with these great surfboard pulls for $5. This project was finished last year, before I was saving receipts. Yeah, I didn't just start this. So I won't quote you the amount, but trust me, this was fun, funky, and came in under $20. And remember THESE? Put the two together for a sneak peek in your mind.

Wow. Now why can't i do this?!?
I look at a piece of furniture and see a mess, not potential. I need to start looking through YOUR eyes!!
Issy,
Thank you for the compliments, and for stopping by! I've found that a few coats of paint really does do wonders, and I end up with the trendiest stuff for almost free.
