I'm not about to replace it; besides, it's just perfect in the downstairs bath, which is all decked out in Key West memorabilia. After a good scrubbing, three coats of gloss white had it back to glistening perfection.
That got me busy hiding the fire damage from other things, including our wrought iron door mat.
I won't bore you with everything I repaint, but I'll be dragging ceiling fans and cabinets galore out here to my new carport work area. If I get crazy with any of them, I'll let you know. But I saw the contractor's estimate for new fixtures and such. I think that money can go right back in my pocket.
And a tiny bit of paint does wonders. Thank you to my lovely daughter for being paint prep crew.
