Don't Just Stand There

There's nothing wrong with changing your mind. Take my treasured cheval mirror,
a gift from my grandfather 3 decades ago.
The style and use was still great, but the oak veneer
needed an update to match our evolving bedroom.
We painted it a fresh, glossy white.
Then we crusted it with seaside sparklies, just a touch.
It was perfect for our beach inspired haven.
Over the next few months, I took an embarrassing amount of
self-shots as I dropped some pounds.
Just lovely huh?
But about the time this was taken, we needed another dresser moved in, which
gobbled up real estate, and I tripped over the tripod stand
of the now awkwardly placed mirror.
So we took the whole thing apart.
Why not?
It's a reversible procedure.
I still needed a full length mirror, so a little picture hanging kit later...
(Just two simple eye bolts and some wire.)
...and we're in business!
Okay, I can see myself.
Whoopee.
The point is it fits now, and it was a free, quick remake.
Now back to work.
I need to get this dresser organized.

I love the shell embellishments! Nice project and a great way to save space!
