Who Wants to Go Shopping?

September 6, 2009, three weeks after my house caught on fire, I sat down and started a blog.

What kind of nut job does that?

Wait, it gets better.

The day BEFORE the fire, that Saturday, we put up a new gazebo and did our very first blog shoot. Yes, I had plans! That went up in smoke!

I apologize for that last pun, sincerely.

However, you may have noticed that I like to celebrate things, so we’re going to do this with a CSN Giveaway!
And in honor of this weird color that we've actually chosen to showcase our dining table, there's a $35 gift certificate up for grabs!
I think this set would look fabulous by the French doors.
Although the simplicity of this one just calls to me.
And a dining set by Tommy Bahama? MINE!

So, here's 4 ways to enter:
1. Leave a comment on this post
2. Become a Follower and comment to that effect, or if you're already a Follower, remind me.
3. Visit www.DiningRoomsDirect.com and tell us what you'd blow your cash on
4. Blog about this giveaway and leave me a comment to let me know

That's it! 4 chances to win a little shopping spree at any of the CSN stores! You have until our actual Bloggiversary midnight September 6 to enter! The winner will be announced on September 7 at 9:00 AM EST.

And face it, you were going to make a comment about that green anyway.

I appreciate your sence of adventure, humor, style, thriftiness.

Except for the last post I read where you motivated me to actually put some organization into physical labor.

Oh- I don't care what it looks like. Anything called HOOKER furniture gets my attention.
(And watch where your mind is going!)

I've been fantasizing about a new dining set, and this one: http://www.diningroomsdirect.com/Wildon-Home-10108Series-CST4062.html is absolutely stunning! I'm really loving the chunky table style and modern lines of the chairs. It would be pefect with a little storage bench on one side...

Well, I am so into lime green right now that I will love it. Such a great giveaway and yes I am a follower. Hugs, Marty

I forgot my color psychology... does green make you hungrier, or calmer? If it's hungrier, I'll have to avoid painting it in the kitchen.

And I too am a follower... looking forward to your Bloggiversary post.

As for DiningRoomsDirect.com, I think I've got to go with this pub set. I really want a square one for the breakfast nook area in front of our patio doors. But, it looks like I'd have to wait... out of stock!

Those first two dining tables are calling my name... And I have to say I am nervous about that paint color. Can you finish that room already, so I can get over my anxiety and love it? You know, since you have nothing better to do ; )

I like the 2nd table better than the other two.
Now whats up with that green? It honestly reminds me of when my mom was trying to figure out a color in her living room.. She painted a few splotches of brown on the wall to see which one she liked. My uncle told her that it looked like someone ran out of toilet paper and wiped their behind on the wall!
