Like most people, I'm about to embark on Fall decorating.
Unlike most people, we don't really have Fall.
Oh, we have four seasons in South Florida alright.
There's Early Summer, Mid Summer, Late Summer, and Next Summer.
I didn't get to decorate last year for some reason *coughcoughcough*, but this year I'm planning to do the full on Autumn thing, beach style.
I don't actually change my colors for any season; I just add seasonal touches in white, green, and silver. This way, my usual decor serves as a backdrop, and I don't have to completely change everything.
Confused? Not too sure about this? Think I'm a little nuts?
I'm a LOT nuts. That isn't the point.
This weekend we're going to get a few things done, peeps, and we'd like you to come along:
* A few Seasonal Touches
* The Heated Dog Bed I keep promising to make. Before we actually need it.
* Nightstand Redo
* Ceiling Fan Makeover
* Wallpaper Removal Made Easy
* Office Desk Set
* And Maybe, just MAYBE, although I hate to make promises, MAYBEEEEEE......
You'd forgotten about this, hadn't you? It's in my entryway serving as a sofa table and...of all things...tool storage! I hadn't tackled it earlier because we were undecided as to where it might land, but now that's settled, so this thing needs to get pretty if it's going to greet my guests!
Listen carefully...do you hear that?
It's the sound of my family groaning.

You make me laugh!! I just read your "about me" and noticed the hyphenated name thing! My son has a hyphenated last name because my husband is Puerto Rican, and they put dad's last name first and mom's last. So he always has issues! My parent's love it because he is the only grandson:-)
The dresser is really nice. YOu should do that first :)
I really like those pumpkins.
Hahaha! It's always a good time in Rehab. :)
And YES - Florida does only have 4 seasons. When I lived in Central Florida, it was Early Summer, Middle Summer, Late Summer, and Spring. We usually had about 2 weeks during January where it got below 50 during the day. People here in Nebraska laugh when I talk about the "winter" in Orlando. ;)
I can't wait to see the projects you'll be tackling this weekend!
Happy Friday!

Sunny,

p.s. the comment in your post about your four seasons of summer cracks me up!
I could use one of those heated dog beds for my feet. They are freezing already!!
I didn't forget about that sofa table piece...can't wait to see all of your projects!
Our dogs have heated beds too. We have heated mattress pad covers that we use, they love it.
