These grow like wildfire here, stand in an excess of 3 feet high, and are invasive! We planted a 40 foot section of fence with what we weeded out of the front yard gardens! They are fully approved Sunny Pritchard Can't Kill This plants, and I haven't the foggiest idea what they are.

I'll go find out...

They are called Mexican Petunias (or at least that's what they told us at the nursery where my dad bought his for the beach house). They are awesome and they'll live up as far as the top and middle of NC. He's going to give me some transplants this winter when he cuts it back and I'm going to see if they'll come back this Spring in VA. I LOVE them!
