Living Room: This is SO Not a Reveal

Let's face it; I think my daughter was messing with me.

However, we'll just raise the curtain and give you a few sneak peeks of the goodies I've hauled back in the house.
One antique bread bowl very roughly hewn filled with green apples.
Sitting on one 1890's steamer trunk that belonged to a cruise ship cellist. Inside are velvet lined drawers. a fold down ironing board, a top hat form. and a mirror. the original owner's name is stenciled on the sides, and there are numerous travel destination stickers on it. $35 at the flea market. SCORE! This is not generally our coffee table; it's usually the sofa table, but since the IKEA table came apart and slid under the couch with no problem, this worked as a way to conserve our limited space.
One unkempt sectional sofa. We're going to have a talk about the meaning of "staging" a shot.
One miffed Feline Overlord who is confused as to why his hooman is making clicky noises and not petting him
Yessir, that cat is peeved.
On top of the TV cabinet, which we've decided not to picture at this time, is a glossy wooden beta fish from Z Gallerie which conveniently hides another chunk of technology my husband insists is vital.
Nearby are his painted white posse. I unified a few nautical accessories with a couple cans of spray paint.
I also have an enormous corner stone fireplace with no mantle, but it does have this interesting niche that I filled with a bright spill of silk. I'll be showing you this edifice in all of its massive glory to get your opinions on what I should DO with the thing.
Just from this view, you're getting a sense that something does have to get done.
Now, if you'll excuse me, it's tuna treat and laser pointer time.

Thanks, Aubrey! I LOVE a good antique mixed in with modern pieces. And the consensus is that it's staying put as the coffee table.
