Yay, my china hutch is back inside!
And yes, she's scheduled for a little black magic of her own, but for now we're just going to oil all of her dry wood until she shines to start with.
I LOVE these two platters for the sparkle they bring to the party.
I mean, how cool is this detailing?
Next, let's get all obvious with a layer of starfish.
You may recognize this little rehabbed cheese dome,
which I paired with a vase that looks like a squat little urchin...
...just under a taller urchin keeping company with a starfish.
A little champagne bucket filled with shells and sea glass for a pale dash of color...
...and lastly, a ceramic tureen made by my grandmother.
And another corner of Chateau Inferno returns to normal.
Or what passes for normal around here.

Where you gonna put Starsky?
Hutch is GORGEOUS!! That tureen couldn't be more perfect and to be handmade my by your grandmother is priceless. You're on a roll!
Oh, Starsky is already in the room, but he wasn't ready for his close up. Sam's had his physics books spread out all over him. Funny that you caught that...
Ahhh I get it now! I love how you styled your hutch!
Your china cabinet is just stunning. I love the detail on it. I also really like the way you have it decorated. Just gorgeous. Hugs, Marty
Thank you, Marti! And guess whose party I'm going to crash with it next week? You inspired me.
That is quite the gorgeous hutch! I like the ensemble too.
Thanks so much for linking to TTT. Your hutch is wonderful and your coastal vignettes are stunning. Hugs, Marty
