Shattered Porn: Give Me Something to Break!

Holy cow, what a day I have ahead!!!
It's Thom's birthday, Mom wants her house demolished on the inside,
so I have to pack her back UP and move her back OUT,
kids have to be picked up, and the party is TOMORROW!!!
In case you thought I'd blow you off, here's some great ideas courtesy of Buzzfeed
for one of my favorite craft supply sources:
things the Minions break.
This is why I CAN have nice things!!!
 Broken pots?
No problem.
Use the shards as garden markers!
Get arty with your broken stuff and make a mini garden all your own.
 New mattress?
The old one makes a good organizer board.
I use melamine dishes for a reason,
but broken ones make a great bird feeder/bathing station...
...or outline a bed with them.
And if they're unrecognizable rubble, use them as pot filler.
NEVER leave those hangers at the store again.
Disco ball that tree...or the garden!
And broken furniture has a million uses.

Globes have tons of recycled potential, but this is by far my favorite.
Broken glass ornaments make great glitter crushed. but remember...
 it's still broken glass.
The drum from your old dryer maked an industrial chic table.
Spare beads glued to bobby pins are thrifty hair ornaments.
A bicycle wheel as a pot rack?
Hell yeah!
How about an art kit from a busted binder?
Some creative scissor work maked those worn canvas flats into shabby,
comfy summer sandals.
Fix up those cheap flip flops...make a pair for every outfit.
Melt old crayons down into a cool rainbow candle...

...or a color changing crayon when layered in a pill bottle...

...an uber rad push up crayon...
 ...or itsy little tealights!
 Broken table?
Nope!
Twin desks!
 And my number 1 favorite?
The ubiquitous broken wine glass!
Pop the stem in the ground, add a candle and BAM!
Garden lights!
Now go dig through the trash, I have a list a mile long!
