Back to Bed

I'm puttering again, so let me bring you up to speed.
We had a few projects to accomplish to make the Master Bedroom into a restful, serene place to hide and build a bed fort.
We brought in a new, cushy rug to make jumping out of bed sound like a sane idea.
You have to be able to see yourself so you don't scare the normals when you leave the house.
When you have a friend who's a hunter, you use your imagination with gifts.
Hair sticks, because I insist on being able to see.
Flowers for a touch of romance. I like a really convincing silk arrangement.
Paint and creativity make even the most mismatched things coordinate.
I have no problem dragging things home from the curb.
Placemats bought on clearance make pillows with beautiful details.
I have a serious thing for dragonflies.
This lamp from Home Goods gives us very low light.
There's no such thiong as enough storage.
Hence the shelves for the closet.
Collections have more impact when arranged with complimentary pieces.
I should get around to that...
Make over anything that's hideous but still works, like this formerly brass fan.
 Themes.
I stick with them.
Cans of spray paint do amazing work.
These were forest green.
And this was a dark, dark wood.
I even gave a cast off dresser a nice coat of dreamy paint to lighten it up and show off the details.
Decorating doesn't have to be expensive, just imaginative.
