Tangled Up in Blue

So, you may recognize my oldest son, Sam, in this photo; handsome lad, talented,
and an aspiring actor and director.
The other guy is his partner in crime, Chris. They have their own production company and make indy films that I personally think are brilliant.

Request and I will share a link to their work. Know ahead of time these two employ the vernacular.
Hilariously.
However, extensively. Think Kevin Smith. If you are easily offended, it's not for you.
But that kind of creativity requires funding.
And I believe in lessons.
I'll write a check, you guys get started.
Now I know a lot of blogs show you what a simple, neat job painting a room is.
We're going to show you the ugly, ugly truth.
G'head, try this at home.
Magnetic primer requires multiple coats for some serious stick.

Again, NOT my child.

That thing still has to go, but at least I'm no longer nauseated by the ceiling.

Wow...
...just wow.

Criticism does not go over well...
...at all. Lower that eyebrow.

Eh, so Mom has a little detail work to do.
After a hard day's work, it's time to thoroughly clean your rollers and brushes...
...and your tarps...
...and head out for the Reel Big Fish concert!
Meanwhile, I'll just admire all that fresh color.
I like where this is going.
How about you?

I am in luuuurv with that blue and green.

I am a big fan of big bold wall colors and yours are freaking splendid.

I also love the magnetic door idea. If I ever brave my kitchen door, I'm so on that like white on rice.

I do like it!!! Makes me thing tropical, with a drink of the fruity variety in my hand! So fresh and new! Is he not your kid cause he's covered in paint?lol! Notice Sam's white shirt is either clean, or I am not seeing the paint, either way, smooth!

Alicia, You're going to love the chalkboard wall in the dining room then!

The magnetic stuff is just a primer, you don't have to change the color of your door or anything. Go for it!

Erin, nope, Chris belongs to some good friends of mine, but we love having the big lug around.

Hmmmm, Sam IS suspiciously clean...

Ooh, the green and blue rooms divided by white trim = beautiful! Love those colors together. Also, I love those shots of the Jackson Pollack on your floor. Yay for Sam and his PIC, hope they get all famous and shit. (Just a little vernacular.) Very cool that they can pay you back a bit for your financing, by prettifying the house under your command.

I love the colors. But you have to share your secret, how do you get them to help. My hubs hates to paint. It's the one thing he will not help with.

That blue and that green together are AWESOME. And I love how happy the guys look to be painting - and getting their pictures taken!! So when are they making a movie about you? ;)
