What Hutch is Wearing This Season

You remember my buddy, Hutch? Wanna see what he's wearing these days?
Let's start with great, great grandma's wedding crystal from somewhere before the turn of the last century.
Do you love the blue? Must be a genetic thing, huh?
Then let's flip the base of my heavy lead crystal hurricanes over and use them as a stand for...
... Dollar Tree bowls spilling over with silver ornaments and shells.
I just liked the combination.
The SILVER COCONUTS made their way to this vignette.
We'll add a butterfly scarf I won playing a game over at Yanet's home a few days ago. (Keep an eye out for more butterflies, they're woven into the displays.) Then we have five little snowmen that represent the family perched on a cakestand.
A little shimmer and sparkle.
And of course some starfish.
Do you love the blue pottery Christmas china? I like the clash of it with the antique crystal.
The clay showing through the glaze had me at hello.
The 90% off price tag swept me off my feet.
Sorry, guys, this was a Target score from January 2004.

The garland above has icy aqua and silver ornaments in wired clusters of three on long needle pine with pinecones, and I used wide wire edged ribbon in sheer chocolate with aqua glitter swirls to tie the wood and the blues together.
I like the beachy winter vibe we created. What do you think?
