Frost on the Beach

Ready to make something that cost me next to zip because I had almost all the goodies on hand?
And even if you don't have everything already in your craft stash,
most of this can be scooped up at the dollar store.
Let's take a leftover Dollar Tree foam wreath that we did NOT make into a crashing alien spaceship.
Hey, no judging.
Spray paint it silver.
Now, let's hit up the stash.

 Flat backed marbles.
 Beads.
 Sea glass.
Pretty little white shells. Essentially, some vase filler.
Add white glitter, wine, a $2 ornament from Walmart (okay, this is the one purchased item), some ribbon and Goop adhesive. Have the hot glue bubbling on the side.
Smear some Goop on the wreath and start placing your elements, arranging them randomly as you please.

Keep going until you have all but the top two inches encrusted.

Now, loop a little hot glue over the top.
Sprinkle on the white glitter. Oooooooooooooo, shiny!
Wait...what were we making?

Nab some 2 inch wide wired ribbon.
Loop it around the wreath, tie it once, and take a second bit of ribbon and tie a bow. Hang the wreath from the long length of ribbon against a mirror to magnify the sparkle.
Suspend a snowflake bauble from the ribbon using silver wire to just nudge the glitz over the top,

Stash busting. It's merry and bright.
This is why recycling is cool.

Very pretty. I really like the colors. I have a sytrofoam cone project in mind that might use a few of your techniques.

Shiny and bright, love it.

I'm so jealous that the only snowflakes you will see are hanging on your decor :(

Oh, I LOVE this! Blue, silver + white = beautiful Christmas combo. And of course I love that it's totally rockin' that Florida vibe. ;)

It looks so pretty with that mirror (that I'm still in love with, btw)!

I love this! (Though I really love all your stuff LOL). How do you get your bow to turn out so well? Mine never look that equal and puffy...
Dont forget my giveaway, it has something turquoisy ;)

Well thank you, I'm glad you all liked it! The trick with the bow is wire edged ribbon- you can make sure the shape is perfect with that!

WOW, that is so cool! I LOVE the way you did the glitter on top, glue gun magic! I love how the sea glass and the marbles speak to each other in a duet of sparkly ocean lurve.

Sunny, besides this being beautiful, I love the expressions on your face while trying to get the perfect shot, he he. So cute. !!!

You know I never quite realized just how much you like blue, but you have it everywhere, and it looks great. I love blue too, but have in practically nowhere in my home, and if I have to redo everything it will cost me like a million bucks, what to do.
