Still a little chilly in your neck of the woods? Geez, I hope not.
Not the least bit here in sunny South Florida.
We parked ourselves by a live band behind the historical Florida Bible College last Sunday for a little sun, libation, and local cuisine.
And why did we do so? Well, we were due for a day out, but we had other reasons.
The world class people watching? No, but seriously, it's a factor.
The scenery in general? Considering what people pay for this view,
sure, but that's only why the locale was chosen.
The kitschy factor? At this point, we're just showing off.
I...I dunno.
Beach bikes? Always a good excuse.
Reptile butt appetizers? We're still working out if this is seafood or not.
Nope we were on the beach with Sam in an anxious social mood...
...and Savannah getting increasingly hungry and impatient...
...because we were waiting for Jane and Ryan from The Borrowed Abode!!!
I was my usual shy self when we met. I think Jane's restraining order will be served to me any day now.
But seriously, these guys were so cool even Sam was laughing, and my man is a reserved one.
They were funny, in sync, and I think, in spite of no roses delivered to our door the next day, that we hit it off.
She's scared, isn't she? Like searching for exits or law enforcement?
But have you seen their blog? Factual, helpful, intermittently snarky (Due to Ryan's humorous contributions), and good enough for 3M to have dumped awards on her lap. Very cool stuff.
Vannah was happy as FOOD was ordered!
They were down for vacation, we seized the opportunity, and I had a fabulous time.
They were hysterically funny.
I of course had a 2 hour head start on the cocktails. I'm fairly sure we parted on good terms.
To be sure, I checked my trunk.
Empty.
We're good.
Right?

If you tried to get me gator butt- green with envy, you succeeded!
Oh it sounds like so much fun!!! And cool to meet some fellow blogger buddies. Love it!
This must have been great! Sounds like lots of fun...hey, maybe I will make it to Florida a gain one day.(-:
SUNNY!!! We had a BLAST with you guys and I must say you were more fun than Miami. :) Big hug!!
PS: Sorry, we're bad dates. No roses for you all. I figured you might light them on fire.
How fun! And what a beautiful day and beautiful weather. Not too sure about the alligator though...
It looks like everyone had a blast! I'm so envious of your beautiful weather, too! And of course the gator butt... mmmm...

It is so easy to say, "Hey, I read in your post that you are going to be in town. Can we get together?" You just can't be stranger shy (and based on the pics this is not a problem for you). My mother still freaks out when I meet a blog friend in person. I guess she's worried about the trunk :)
Glad you all had such a great time!
I CRACKED. UP. by the way over the reptile butt. I will be borrowing that phrase.
haha I wish I could have been there! I used to live in SOFL! <3 Like my entire life was in Coral Springs and Boca!
glad you guys had fun! mwah!

You are too cute :0) How great you got to meet some bloggy friends! I've yet to meet and in real life but it looks like you all had so much fun
Looks like y'all had fun. It is sort of hard to prove one is not a bonified freaky kinda stalker blogger...not that you are.
Bwahahhahaha!! Yay new friends! No restraining orders to be issued on you, Sunny. You're too wonderfully scrumptious to scare people (for too long). ;) <3 u.
And never underestimate the power of a hungry teenager.
Aaaahhhhh...sunny Florida! Chuckling over restraining order & exits :-)
lol... too funny. Always cool to hear about a blogger get-together! And thanks for making me jealous with all those sunny FL pictures. :)
