What's Blooming?

 What's blooming?
A wedding on the beach, that's what!
The couple, good friends of ours, didn't register anywhere as they already had two households of stuff, so I put together a Romantic Bath for Two in a beach theme.
A nice sturdy basket...
 ...bubbly ribbon...
 ...natural sea sponge...
...champagne flutes, bubble bath, a dolphin shaped back massager...
...all nestled in two soft, fluffy towels.
 Sammy of course suited up.
The daughter was stunning in a gauze dress and her first pair of heels.
Hubs sported a tone on tone Cuban shirt.
Thom's jacket is definitely coastal themed.
I had to. It was $3 at Marshalls.
I "wedged" my feet into these.
And after trekking a mile from the parking lot barefoot in rocky burning sand,
I was REALLY missing my usual flats.
Then I discovered my dress had pockets, so I had a purse for no reason.
But I suppose I can be girlie for one day, right?
How's this for a perfect setting?
The reception was amazing, right down to a tropical combo band.
 We started decorating Savannah...
...which got a little out of hand...
...and then a LOT out of hand.
There was a cake for the bride and groom to cut, and tons of these gorgeous cupcakes.

After much merriment, we headed back home to my flats,
to which I swore eternal devotion from this day forth.
Some days are just perfect.

Looks like a nice time. Savannah looks soooo grown up & beautiful! Just like her Momma. Your other two minions cleaned up nice too. If Thom ever wants to part with that jacket, tell him to let me know! Tell your Hubs that I said he looked spiffy too.

I so wish I could have been there. La Vie pretty much said it all, not much to add for me!

That seems like a perfect day. I really do love how you tell stories with your pictures (and that your family plays along).

I also love the "coastal" jacket. I would have had to too.
