Paint Pathetic Pillows Profusely!

Yep, I bought outdoor pillows just last year. Cheap. Like clearance $3 apiece.
But the price didn't make me feel any better when the discoloration didn't just wash out.
Fine, get your spray paint.
You heard me.
Start spraying. You know the drill. Light coats. Somebody get me my sunglasses!!!
Ahem, okay plan your colors and use the lightest one as a base.
Sure, solid colors are fun, but do you happen to have some painter's tape?
And maybe some...other colors of spray paint?

 Rip off the tape!!!
Pop by tomorrow for the big Back Garden Reveal!
We promise an outdoor room reveal tomorrow, totally chill worthy, and yet full of productive garden real estate. Pop back by.

Holy Spray Paint. Do they feel like they did pre spray paint or are they stiff? I've got some way faded ugly cushions but can't bring myself to buy new ones. They look awesome!
Can't wait for the reveal!

They ARE stiff, but since they were outdoor fabric, they were stiff to begin with. And they look amazing- my son's photos did not do them justice. Mom needs to get home from the office before dark.

What a perspicacious title.

I think they look awesome, for sure. I have to admit though that I'm not sure I'd like the feel of them. . . (we're friends, I can be honest, right?) Any specific reason you opted for spray rather than fabric paint?

Fabric paint doesn't hold up well outdoors, and these are outside 365 days of the year. Actually, they aren't as still as you'd imagine. I've spray painted fabric umbrellas before, and they do soften with use.

I didn't know that you could even do this...amazing and they look great.

Holy Spray Paint Batman!!! I didnt know you could use it on fabric, and I love spray paint. You have to let us know how the spray paint holds up.

This is so great, I have so much random spray paint to try this with. Thanks, Sunny, I really love these stripey cushions!
