Plumbing Zen

A quick trip to the home improvement store will get you the goods to make a cool zen bamboo arrangement.
Grab your gear:
20' of quarter inch copper tubing
One 4" PVC end cap
A bamboo orchid trellis
A slate tile
Goop adhesive
Decorative river stones
Some lucky bamboo in search of a good home

Grab your tubing...

...and start coiling it around the cap.
SPRRROOIIINNNGGGG!
Fit the cap, open end up, inside it. If this is working for you, attach the coil to the tile with Goop.
Nab those river rocks.
Stand the trellis and bamboo upright in the cap.
Anchor them with rocks and add water.
Chase the cats around for a few minutes.
I added a few decorative stones as an accent, and this has gone to live on my bookcase.
I'd show you exactly where, but the living room looks like a gaming pit.
MINIONS!!!

Very cool project. I have a thing for Bamboo...which might be slightly influenced by my four year old Asian princess. Happy Monday!

Wow! that's so cool. I also love bamboo. is there a thing as too much bamboo? NEVER! is there a 12 step program for this? my overlords also appreciate(?) bamboo or at least attempting to drink out of the containers. I LOVE your blog, between the projects & how you've shared your amazing family's joys & sorrows with all of us! & especially love the overlords! You keep me smiling whenever I check in but especially on the bad days (esp. lately between my own health issues, my Mom's, & her brother is dying from an extremely, aggressive bone cancer) and it's great appreciated! wishing u & yours all the best.

I love this zen arrangement. Very clever!! Is the copper tubing really easy to coil or was the wine there for some strength and sustenance?

Hey Sunny, I loved this project. So creative as usual, I don't know how you come up with this stuff, but I love it. I need to get more lucky bamboo, mine all died, gosh, not very lucky after all, lol. I guess even lucky as it is, it still needs water to survive right, ooops.

I loved it so much I FEATURED you, I know I'm late letting you know, but I hope it still puts a smile on your face.

Come grab a button girl, and display it proudly!

Plumbing is not an easy task to complete especially for people who are trying to have their homes renovated or constructed from scratch. Even buildings are capable to set up the right plumbing system to make sure that they abide by the rules of plumbing.
