Mail from the Great White North!

Yesterday, I came home to a big, flat envelope from Ontario.
It wasn't an inflatable moose or a Build-Your-Own-Mountie kit.
What the heck are these giant paper commas?
 See, I have connections.
I told my buddy Mel from the Junkin' Junky how much I loved her Wine Glass Lanterns, and, well...
...now we just need wine glasses! Empty ones, that is.
These have a simple tab and slot assembly, so when you're done, they're flat and ready to store.
I tried them first with a battery operated tea light because I have an inexplicable thing about fire.
Well, maybe it's a little splicable.
Tell me she didn't pick out some perfect colors for my house!

Mel, ever considered an Etsy shop?

Speaking of Etsy shops, check out what I got from Rehab Regular Vagabond Carnival.
I hopped into her little boutique and fell in love.
Do you see this attention to detail?
It's delivered gift-ready.
 Look. At. These.
She described them as frozen bits of Arctic Ocean.
I am so smitten, and they go with a special dress I'm ordering.
Girl, come up with a necklace!!!
With the kind of luck I'm having over at This Fresh Fossil, I should be blowing the savings account on the lottery. FIRST, I won a roll of Scotch Blue painter's tape.
I wonder if I'll ever paint anything?
Hmmmmmmmmmmm...
But wait, there's more! I also got a $30 CSN gift card from Chelsea and Tom,
which I predictably spent on the hubster and got him a OXO Salad Spinner.
Guys, I'm entering every giveaway you've got!
Victoria from Florida's Native Girl left me a seriously exuberant comment about my gardening, with tons of suggestions, one of which was to plant scallion ends. We'd already planned to do this, however, Victoria has a brand new blog with some of the most delicious and free-spirited posts ever.
Pop by and fill up her comment box.

One last thing: have you ever thought to yourself, "Okay, did everyone in blog land make a ________ except ME???" Head on over to The Ugly Duckling House and join the hysterical thread she has going.

And the heck with Keeping Calm. Panic is good.

Keeping calm? Pshaw, that's for other people. Certainly not for me.

I'd say your thing about fire is a lot "splicable."

And I LOVE that wine glass lantern idea!! :)

I, also am a fan of the wineglass shades. I never would have thought of that. They'd be gorgeous centerpieces too. Mel, I second the opinion that you should sell this stuff on Etsy or Artfire or something. These are fantastic!

*cough, blush* Thankee for the feature m'dear. Actually adding a few necklaces to the shop this weekend and working on more stuff. Silly things like interviews and night class get in the way.

I'm so glad they work with your decor, almost perfectly :)

If they threw you in the river you'd come out with salmon in your pocket, with the luck you've had lately.
