Getting Fresh with Ya'

Not everything we do here at Chateau Inferno is a heart stopping, amazing project.
Actually, I don't think we've ever done one of those.
Most of the time we just spray paint stuff or dress funny.
Or make food that wakes your cardiologist from a dead sleep in a panic.
But we do have maintenance and upkeep to consider, so our patio furniture got hauled out onto the lawn for a stiff brushing to remove flaked paint and a couple coats of gloss black.
 Because this is unattractive...
...but this is disgusting.
 And this?
Admit it, you just missed the first time, right?
Eh, maybe it wore off. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt.
While this was drying, all of the cushions went in the washer.
So pretty soon, we'll have a clean, fresh place to lounge about while on the phone to
our girlfriend in Arkansas.
You missed a spot. One more coat.
You missed a few spots on that...
 ...but not that.
Okay, so earth shattering this was not.
Necessary it was.
At least I haven't done a laundry folding tutorial.

I would like to repeat how jealous those of us living in much colder climates are of your ability to srapy paint :0) My trigger finger is itchy!

I have a couple of indoor vintage rattan chairs that I have been waiting to makeover. This may be the push I needed (no flaking paint on mine, but they DO have that notsolovely weird 70s orangey toned wood stain).
And definitely do not do a laundry folding tute. I do not want anybody telling me that my current method of folding fitted sheets is wrong (fold, fold, roll roll roll roll, and tuck into cupboard)

Have I mentioned that when all else fails, I still stop by for my daily dose of Sunny Humor? You never disappoint!
And just you wait. . . I've actually almost convinced Ryan to do a laundry-folding tutorial. Trust me. . . it will be worth it.

So I guess "spring" has arrived in south Florida? lol
...and some of us could use a well written, Sunny style, motivating laundry folding tutorial! ;-)or maybe just bigger baskets?
