We're Down With It

Finally! We had a big group over Saturday night for dinner, so Sunday while we were taking the extra leaf out and the table was cleared off, I took total advantage and Thom and I lifted the table while Savannah unrolled the new rug. And called dibs on the cardboard tube in the middle. And then hung out under the table.

Our new rug is a Martha Stewart indoor/outdoor woven model that's flat, tough, and can be hosed clean. I was looking for something with very little height so Mom's wheelchair would make it over it,
and it passed that test swimmingly.

I am just loving it. It's a perfect touch of pattern, and it should hold up to the traffic from outdoors fairly well.
But what do you guys think?

LOVE!!! It reminds me a little of our kitchen rug. I love the indoor/outdoor rugs. I have three in the house right now. So great!!

Vannah is looking way too adorable!

It looks great. I particularly like the idea of being able to hose off spaghetti and jelly (and at our house, dog pee). Very smart idea to use an indoor outdoor rug.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Very nice. I have always said "practical and sturdy does not have to mean plain and ugly" and this proves that, "practical can be pretty too!"

Happy Valentines Day to you and all of your sweet family.

Gorgeous! I love your new rug! I'm digging that the natural fibers go so well with the pattern! Great pick! Seems like it should hold up well with lots of abu... uh, use. ;)

Looks great! I need something like this while we are living in the basement....regular carpet doesn't hold up at all!

The new rug looks great! I have often thought about getting an indoor/outdoor rug for under the table - with two kids I would love to just hose it off!

That rug is gorgeous! If you see a good knock-off somewhere, let me know. I don't buy MS brand, but would love to have the same rug for my dining room!
