Gazebo, Part Five. And We Entertained Out There

Psssssst...we're all set up! Wanna see the new room?
It's a great hang out for the orchids.

And what a way to show off my staghorn fern.

Today, we'll take care of the lighting.
Last night, we were too busy with guests for that.

Sweet! You really made that into a lush little room- great job, and genius move with the cinderblocks btw.

I'm envious that you can grow orchids outdoors.

Love, love staghorn ferns and I actually kept one for over five years in a covered porch once. The orchids and the gazebo look marvelous dahling.

Very Nice! Love all of your orchids and they will love the space. Lighting..hmmmm? Well I always use Christmas lights but I'm sure that is too boring for you, maybe train type lanterns if you can find them...I know you will come up with something brilliant!! xo

Everything looks wonderful! So much green! What is that monster cactus that looks like a kraken about to climb over the wall?

Life in Rehab said...

That cactus is the night blooming cereus I've been featuring on Sundays. I need to cut it back, but it's just covered in buds, and with the flowers only lasting a few hours, I hate to prune it!

Great space you have there. Lots of hard work! I can just imagine how wonderful it is to sit out there in the mornings with a cup of coffee!

What a lovely little tropical get-away awaits you right out your back door. It was worth all the sweat. I'd be happy to join you with a white sangria!!

What a gorgeous tropical oasis!!!! I love how you hang the plants down the sides of the gazebo!!

Are you doing permanent lighting or perhaps some candles? I like to hang my candle chandeliers from the top of my gazebo when we entertain out there.

What a beautiful space!

Is that a ponytail palm? I have a little one on my desk in my home office area. The orchids are, as usual, beautiful... meanwhile, guess whose orchid has done NOTHING except create a new leaf?
