A Quick Little Gift

Are you making any gifts this year? We always do. In fact, we make almost 200 between coworkers, teachers, and friends. We love to give people a little touch of ourselves, so while you have a couple of days off, come play with us and throw together some affordable fun you can proudly hand out.

And if you aren't proud of what you've done, totally blame it on us. We're used to it.
Okay, so we spray painted a huge bunch of sea shells
Did you really think a bowl full of them was the extent of it?
A little wisp of thin ribbon
Make a hanging loop and knot the end.
Tuck it in the opening of the shell.
Add some silicon adhesive, using a skewer to tuck the ribbon under the glob.
Have a little patience and let them dry. You can do it.
Now nab a nice Dollar Tree bowl.
Sphagnum moss makes a good base, and it's dirt cheap at the garden center.
Add a few drops of scent.
Then drop in your new ornaments and a little colorful sea glass.
Wrap in clear plastic food film and add a wired bow.
A little very inexpensive glitz as a gift.
Difficulty level: Must Have an Index Finger.
I should write these down.

Great idea! I really like the silver shells as ornaments... which makes me wonder: how do you guys decorate your Christmas tree? Is it a traditional "Florida Tree", complete with shells, sunbathing santas sipping Pina Coladas, and plenty of hot-pink flamingos? ;)

I thought I was crazy for making over 30 gifts last year. It killed my sewing machine.
