Guest Blogger: Nikki from The Best Part of Believe

I'm going to promise not to sneeze on anyone as I write this!
October was Breast Cancer Awareness Month, as I'm sure everyone in blogland knows, and it's a special subject for me, since I was diagnosed with it once in 1980 and once in 2005.

Never drop your guard.

I've been following Amy at New Nostalgia's battle as well. She's amazingly positive.
And then I saw what Nikki, the proprietress of The Best Part of Believe was up to, and I just had to dive in and invite her over! She's got some cool freebies for you, so take a moment and enjoy!

WOW here I am on my very FIRST guest post. Woo Hoo!!
Sunny you're truly the best, the more I learn about you the more I aspire to be like you! Thank you!

Well this post is a bit delayed due to circumstances beyond my control, weather, sickness, birthdays, you know LIFE, right? October was Breast Cancer Awareness Month and I have been personally affected by this disease. I have lost several family members over the years and I am a firm believer in finding a cure and raising awareness to catch it early. As all of us are, I am strapped for cash but I wanted to show my support and raise some money to help those who have lost their battles and for those who are still fighting the war on Cancer. I created some note cards and a post it holder template for you to download for FREE.

You can save the pictures and print them any size you want. I chose 4x6 and printed them on card stock and wrote little notes to my Aunts this last month. Or you could add a picture to them and have it like a matboard for a memory or for a survivor you know.
Plus I have made some amazing necklaces (so I think.) In order to spread the word. Plus we can support the cause in the process. If you purchase one of these necklaces I will make a FULL donation to Susan G. Komen Foundation.

Thanks again Sunny for featuring me and getting the word out!!
Stop by and visit me sometime if you get the chance while wandering blogland.
 XOXO ~ Nikki

Thanks for popping by, Nikki, and I hope everyone enjoys your little freebie goodies!
I'm gonna go crawl off and make soup...

Thanks Sunny,
for featuring Nikki I just finished a mixed media painting on women and cancer called "Shades of Pink" I hope you will hop over to my blog and take a peek. The piece it in tribute to all the women I knew and know who have suffered with cancer particularly breast cancer but not exclusive to it as one of my sisters is a one year survivor of lung cancer. She had to have a 1/3 of her lung removed last year so I HATE CANCER BREAST LUNG ANY TYPE and so my piece is dedicated to all you brave women out there.
