Painting Pink Pots, Curt and Rod

Yeah, I've been really busy actually. Just on incidental things that I don't need to show you how to do.

You know how to paint pots, right?
Everybody's good with cutting 1 1/2 inch dowel rods for curtain rods, right?

These are for the bedroom, so they got several coats of the same True Blue all of the accessories got.
I do promise to show you a lot of after shots this weekend though. Including the real finials for the curtain rods. And the finished planter. Window molding. What I did with the soda bottles. The flooring choice for the whole house. Final paint colors. And one tiny project that I've been just dying to try. Meet me back here tomorrow (some may be tonight!) for some Sneak Peeks Exposed!

Ohhh, you HAVE been busy!

Okay, this is probably a really stupid question... but... what are dowels? lol! I have no idea! :)

Hi Chelsea,

These are usually found in the molding section of your hardware store. They come in a ton of different circumferences, and they are long, straight round rods of wood about 8' long...I'm making plant supports out of some too. They sell a variety of unfinished finials in the same area, so you just cut them to the length you need, finish them, and add the finial.

oh gosh, I have no idea what to do with it/them. I have 4 now and I'm lost. I'm not into traditional decor, I don't like match y match y stuff, when I do a craft I usually do it once and fahgedaboutit. I'm lost. But I know inspiration will kick in.
