Featured Guest: My Beautiful Daughter & Better Take Notes!

Hey, I'm guest posting today over at Craft Rookie, but in the meantime, we have some new stuff just for YOU so you can use that 5 gallon drum of decoupage medium you just made!

Ladies and Gentlemen, it's back to school time! And with a sophomore, a senior, and college freshman in the house, we're running frantically to get ready for it. The lists were long, the entrance exams tough, and shopping was grueling, but we're almost there, and here in Rehab, as you know, we're just crazy enough to share the insanity.
My lovely daughter. Savannah Helene Pritchard-Torres has prepared a series of tutes just for you on how to personalize that style of yours- of course, on the cheap!

Vannah continues takeover of the blogosphere!
Well, it's the most horrible time of the year again, bloggers.
Back to school.
Where did my summer go so fast?
Ok, since I can't go back in time and give myself more summer, I'll just make my lame back to school stuff a little more awesome. For this project, you're gonna need:
4 notebooks
4 kinds of fabric
Scissors
We made our color scheme all black and white using $1 fabric pieces we found at Walmart, and four composition books. This is the first time I'm going back to school with no spiral-bounds!
First, I'm going to start with skull and cross-bones! Lay your composition notebook on the fabric down by the corner. Leave a little extra fabric around the edges so you can fold it over into the cover.
Slather the front of the notebook in Mod Podge and flip either the notebook onto the fabric, or the fabric onto the notebook! Press it down nice and flat! If you're a regular over here, you should know how to do this by now!
Now slather the other side and flip the fabric. Smooth it out nice and flat!
It helps to roll in the extra fabric so the Mod Podge that comes around the edge of the cover doesn't
stick to the notebook paper and mess it up!
Fold down and Mod Podge down all the edges that come around the sides. I put a gallon bag over the paper so that the paper doesn't get all messed up by the Mod Podge.
And remember! Don't just wait around while you're waiting for Mod Podge to dry! You've still got three more books you can be doing! All at the same time!
Note: If you make a little cut in the fabric at the base of the spine of the notebook, both sides fold over into the covers perfectly.
Long story short; AWESOME.
 Feline Overlord fits color scheme!
Pretty monochromatic!
Well, there you have it! A quick and easy way for your kids to personalize some of their gear and stand out from the crowd. And we do know they like to stand out!
Right, Savannah?

Hi Sharon,
The recipe for homemade Mod Podge is on yesterday's post, and it works great! As for the shoes, those bad boys are from Walmart for a very reasonable $15, and she has the lowtops in purple zebra as well, all from the Miley Cyrus line. I was crowned "Best. Mom. EVER." for that score.

Hey Sherri,
You hit the Christmas nail on the head!

Those are pretty sweet! We might have to do that to Tom's notebooks... hmm, I wonder what sort of fabric would work for a half-doctor touring the hospital? ;)

Those are awesome, and so affordable and easy, too! Great job!

I know a girl that will absolutely love those covered books, but will never actually do it herself. Good for you Vannah! :)

Hey a cool tidbit I did was on the inside with the foldover pieces is to add a matching or contrasting piece of card stock to cover up rough edges. I even covered the card stock with a piece of fabric on one so that the inside was all super awesome too. I only did one because I get bored fast and want results now and simpler the better in my world!!

Cleaning company in Madinah
With cleaning company in Madinah, clean water will be obtained free from dirt and sediment. It is known that water is a source of life and can not live without it for long periods. We need to do all the daily cleaning, food preparation, irrigation and other daily operations we use. When water breaks down, we are exposed to many problems, but in order to avoid these problems, tanks can be installed at the top or bottom of the houses until there is water throughout the day
