The Horrors of Landscaping, Part 2

So while Sam was desecrating my bougainvillea to get access to the killer attack bees,  We were onto another project in the side yard.
 Specifically, over here.
There's been a bit of a shift in the placement of things, and we thought another yard feature belonged right here.
Enter this dandy shipping pallet dragged from a neighbor's refuse pile amidst eye rolls from my patient loving husband.
21 years and counting, baby. Don't even act surprised.
So, what to do with this pristine pallet?

 Hello, Lover.
That's right.
One 16 year old in a face mask and three cans of Rustoleum 2X.

While that's drying, let's do a little net surfing and find some blackberry clip art that we like.
Looks easy enough to duplicate, right?
A rough sketch was...well, sketched.
Chalk was then used to outline things on black poster board.
Yes, this was free hand. Hate us. We can take it.
Then cut out the parts you'd like to be a stencil using an exacto knife.

Do you see where we're going with this?
Take that magnificent glossy black pallet...

 ...and some Grape Rustoleum...

 ...and your stencil...

We're doing this in a very casual style.

 This is Boo.
No, there was no reason to include this photo.

The overspray leaves a very cool pattern.

We used Apple Green Rustoleum for the leaves.
And there you have it! Nearly FREE yard art!
What are we going to do with it?
We'll see you tomorrow for the exciting, nail biting conclusion!!!

Sunny, this is soooooo great. Im picturing rows of them (with different fruit each) acting as a backdrop to a nice stone paver patio...
