The Brush Off

Time to get back to painting! You may recall we had a short hiatus of several months when Samwow took a tumble off the ladder. I've walked around the house since then, admiring the fuzzy lines and unfinished trim, imagining all the shelves and decorative touches I really wanted to work on.
Last weekend, the brushes came back out.
 Details, men, details.
 Less cheese, more cutting in.
I'm hoping for more color on the wall and less on the floor this time too.
Learning is a process. And you can't not teach your Minions new skills because you're afraid of imperfections.
So pardon us whilst we slather our kaleidoscope thang.
Hopefully, we'll be on to some fun stuff later today.

Definitely looking fresh! I love the colours, in my mind, just what a Florida residence should look like.

I love how all your projects are FAMILY projects. Your minions ROCK. We've been trying to include the girls as much as possible on the treehouse project. Yesterday's post even had Emma painting toe molding. Thanks for the continued inspiration. I hope you had a great anniversary!

I LOVE that blue color. I've been playing around with doing that exact shade in our master bedroom, but I'm too indecisive to pull the trigger. What is it called?
