Ready to get your garden on this weekend? Me too! The seedlings are ready to go in, the post-winter weeding is done (don't laugh at me; we get winter.), and I'm ready for a yard full of blooms!
Of course, I do have a tiny advantage.
We do have a lot of things that bloom year round.
So this weekend, we'll finish up the pillow projects, do a little gardening, make some fun storage containers from trash, and give you a sneak peek at the progress in the house. As in I'm choosing colors.
Oh, and we made a Freeze Death Ray. Stay tuned!

Exciting! You're lucky to have good weather this weekend - in my part of the woods it looks like we're in for a whole weekend of thunderstorms and hail. I'm sad that I won't be able to finish digging up our patio (Agh, Charlie! haha) but then again maybe I need a few days to recover from all the tile work. Can't wait to see your projects this weekend! :)
I am laughing at your "winter" and I am jealous!! What are those pretty lavender flowers? I don't know how much gardening I'll get done this weekend (if any). I need to do some weeding and cleaning up.
Chelsea, after everything you two have gotten done lately, you DESERVE a good excuse to veg out for a couple of days and recover, seriously. I get tired just reading about everything you accomplish!
Heather, they're called Lantana, a woody stemmed variety that comes in tons of colors. Disney uses them in a lot of hanging baskets, and they grow very quickly, but they're oddly hard to root.
My mother, who is a Master Gardener, is moving down to live with us next month, so I'm sure the yard is about to get a major transformation this summer!
LUCKY!!! My mom's also a master gardener and has recently downsized but still manages to pack a ton of flowers in her gardens. I'll have to do a photo tour when it's in full bloom.
Oh, you definitely have to!
