I'm Just Painting Stuff Again

Pssssssssssst...see that stunning brown Pine Factory stereo stand? Purchased in 1988? Isn't it dreamy?
How about those forest green baskets? You love them, don't you?
Yeah, me neither.
So grab the Rustoleum 2X Gloss White and Satin Aqua.
Oh, and wash the nasty basket liners. Seriously, don't you people ever clean?
There's nothing like a fresh coat of paint to bring something back to life.
I think they're ready for a new, useful life up in our room.
And paired with the revitalized stereo stand, we have a new chest of drawers for practically free.

Grab an end, would you please? This thing is heavy.

This one is really amazing...I can't count how many times I've walked past those things at garage sales. I will have a new respect for them now!

How fantastic is that! You've convinced me, I'm painting my ugly Easter baskets and giving them full-time, year-round uses.

Ok that's it... I'm buying pale blue spray paint! I've been seeing a lot of projects around blogland in this color and I saw a spray paint kind of like the shade you used at the hardware store last month but didn't buy it. I'm dropping by there this weekend to get it. Lovely projects! :)

I need this colour, too. I bet it would go SO well with my (intentionally) mud brown walls! Plus, this post was the last kick up the behind I needed to transform the spare room/ cat room/ big rubbish tip into a little craft space pour moi. Downside- the cat litter boxes are in there. Upside- IT'S A SPARE ROOM! I CAN DO WHAT I WANT AND GO MAD WITH AQUA!! Thanks, Sunny, for singelehandedly channeling a huge chunk of our rather meagre disposable income into purchasing spray paint and junk furniture :D

Love the transformation. It's so light & refreshing now!
