Pssssssssssst...see that stunning brown Pine Factory stereo stand? Purchased in 1988? Isn't it dreamy?
How about those forest green baskets? You love them, don't you?
Yeah, me neither.
So grab the Rustoleum 2X Gloss White and Satin Aqua.
Oh, and wash the nasty basket liners. Seriously, don't you people ever clean?
There's nothing like a fresh coat of paint to bring something back to life.
I think they're ready for a new, useful life up in our room.
And paired with the revitalized stereo stand, we have a new chest of drawers for practically free.

Very PB-esque! I think we're finally getting back to doing some projects. It's been a long winter!
This one is really amazing...I can't count how many times I've walked past those things at garage sales. I will have a new respect for them now!
Looikin good mama! Really love that you went white with the pop of color in the baskets
Amazing! Those baskets pop and this project inspires. Great work and thanks for using Rust-Oleum. Keep up the amazing DIY work.

How fantastic is that! You've convinced me, I'm painting my ugly Easter baskets and giving them full-time, year-round uses.
You are definitely in spring cleaning mode. Looking good.
that is just so dang pretty :)
So bright now and not that dull ugly brown & green! What did you do with the big mirror????? The suspense is killing me!
Excellent makeover and repurpose. Love it now!
Ooo, what a fun project, and YES, BY GUM! That IS a chest of drawers! Genius. And beautiful!
What a difference...wow! These are really looking seriously good.
WOW!! I love it!! and where did you glass bottom cloche!! it's so cool!!!!
Hi Ami,

Ok that's it... I'm buying pale blue spray paint! I've been seeing a lot of projects around blogland in this color and I saw a spray paint kind of like the shade you used at the hardware store last month but didn't buy it. I'm dropping by there this weekend to get it. Lovely projects! :)
I need this colour, too. I bet it would go SO well with my (intentionally) mud brown walls! Plus, this post was the last kick up the behind I needed to transform the spare room/ cat room/ big rubbish tip into a little craft space pour moi. Downside- the cat litter boxes are in there. Upside- IT'S A SPARE ROOM! I CAN DO WHAT I WANT AND GO MAD WITH AQUA!! Thanks, Sunny, for singelehandedly channeling a huge chunk of our rather meagre disposable income into purchasing spray paint and junk furniture :D
Love the transformation. It's so light & refreshing now!
What a great new life for this piece! Love the blue you used on the baskets.

Love the blue and white colors. YOu did well-again. Cheers
Great idea. I have some shelves in my house that could really use a coat of paint! I'll get right on that....
