The Great Glitzy Hack Off Is ON!

It's that time again~
The Great Glitzy Hack Off Is ON!
want to help inspire you to get into the season with some half-baked fabulous
ideas, complete with my usual drawn out, unnecessarily detailed step-by-step
instructions that include way too many photos and details the average chimp could have figured
out on his own. Because let's face it...
I have the mind of the average chimp.
A few weeks ago, there was a Labor Day shopping trip strictly for reconnaissance reasons.
So let's get you in the mood.
Pour yourself a little bit of the Autumnal grape.
For me, this is literal~ Welches Sparkling Red Grape!
&%$#@! medications...
Put together a scrumptious dinner that's decidedly meant for cooler climates.
Maybe a nice Oktoberfest Pork Stew with Dumplings.
Or something roasted with lots of herbs and veggies.

Have a slice of cinnamon apple pie with some hot cider and sharp cheddar while you
make your lists and plot your transformation.
Ready to take a peek in my shopping bags now?
Let's see what inspiration I brought home with me.
A trip to Z Gallerie is like a stop at Glitter Central.
Sparkle on anything makes it glamorous, and that's what they're all about.
How about a simple skull elevated with some black shimmer?
Alas, poor Yorick?
Hardly.
He's sporting a chrome finish this season.
For a paltry $30, your pumpkins can be luxe and posh little accents
wrapped in plush muted velvet.
Except that over here at Chateau Inferno, $30 isn't paltry.
This guy has more bling on than me.
Mercury glass is always a good look.
If you want shine, but are afraid of glitter, this is the way to go.

These beaded babies...
30 bucks a pop, but oh! How I need one.
Pheasant under glass?
I prefer mine under a blanket of faux pewter.
Glittered ghastlies in silvered branches...
anyone else in love with this?
Glittered silver artichokes.
Say it with me.
It's tough to be arachnophobic when the eight legged freaks are blinding you with their shine.
When the whole thing is diamonds?
I'm not scared at all.
I don't even know what I'd do with them, but I'm sure I'd figure out something.
Yes. Please. Period.

I think my daughter already has these...
Now when you put this stuff together, you get a very rich look.
The idea here though...
...is to get a $200 look for 5 bucks flat, right?
So light up that thousand dollar crystal chandelier you bought at the Finkelstein's yard sale
last June and spray painted into new glory for $20...
...get ready to crust some Dollar Tree goodies in glimmer...
...and let's but our collective heads together to hack this...
...and this...
...oh, and this...
...gonna need some of these...
...need, need, need..
...must have...
...do want...
...totally love...
...procure...
...figure out...
...make...
...cook...
...artfully arrange...
...assemble and give...
...(oh dear GOD was this stuff good!)...
...and please notice, there's not a pumpkin in sight!
This is all about color, people!
Break out the glue guns, the glitter, the flat backed gems and the bats!
Let The Great Glitzy Hack Off begin!
All you need to do is create an autumn bauble or display inspired
by ANYTHING shiny, tell us where you got the idea,
and put either my button or Steff's on your post.
Leave us a comment linking to your post, and every couple of days, we'll do round ups.
Ready, guys?
Get Fall Fabulous!
