You may remember my beautiful floor vase with the giant white silk amaryllis?
I got it served up as a side of breakfast shards yesterday.
Smidgen likes her surfaces clean and pristine, so she pushed a topiary off of the buffet onto the vase, and...
Amazingly, the topiary lost half a dozen bits of sea glass and that's it! If you're considering making one, I endorse its sturdiness.
I like leaving sweet little notes for the family here and there.
In the meantime, it's time to go shopping!
Headed for Home Goods, Joanns, and IKEA!
BRB. If not back, avenge death!
Oh my! I hope there was no blood!
ReplyDeleteYou have such cute shoes.
Ouch! Despite the "accident" I hope you have fun shopping!
ReplyDelete...maybe a new vase today? Bad kitty! I love your floor tile - very nice.(-:
ReplyDeleteOh, I am so sorry! I can totally relate. Usually it's my Welsh terrier dog that gets the ornaments and chews them all up!! Have a great shopping day!
ReplyDeleteOH NO!! I hate when they do that. Poor vase :(
ReplyDeleteOoooooh nooooo, I just want to cry for you. Loved your jar and the decorations inside of it. I recently bought a very large demijohn jar at an antique store, my cat keeps trying to get in it. We keep change in it. We tell our grown children to donate to our retirement fund....with their change. LOL Hope you find another jar, decorate it and show it to us soon. Thanks for sharing Decgal
ReplyDeleteLooks like my house but I can't blame it on the cats. Hope the shopping was fruitful!!!
ReplyDeleteWahhhh.
ReplyDeleteOh no! Those crazy pets. Barley's had his fair share of destroying things like glass vases and ipod earbuds, too...
ReplyDeleteI bet you'll make something even awesomer, though!
