Cloche Call!

This all started because I had a wonderful cloche from Pottery Barn that I'd snagged on clearance for $5, but without a base it seemed to carry no real weight no matter what I put under it.
So while at Home Depot, I grabbed a pot for $1.27 and a saucer for $1.87, which I spray painted a nice fresh gloss white.
Then using Goop adhesive, I stacked and secured them together.
Next, I hot glued a mix of shells, sea glass, and flat backed marbles in a crust across the front of both the saucer and the pot.
Just enough to command some attention
I trimmed a little scrapbooking paper to fit inside the saucer.
A nice liberal schmear of Mod Podge...
Smooth the paper over the MP.
Slather more Mod Podge on top.
Grab that big gorgeous whelk shell and your dome. Appropriately place on a silver platter.
Zoom in on your beachy bling.
Less than $4, and I just love it!
I think it's perfect with the lamps and the mirror too, don't you?
I'm heading over to Marty's now for the Cloche Party.
See you there!
