I know it seems like we've been doing a little of this.
Sorta chillin', lounging on the folded laundry.
Napping for no reason.
The truth is, 20 bags of top soil came home in the back of the Kia.
Yes, it fit.
Don't get cute with me, even if you own a pick up truck.
We filled a wooden packing crate I found in the garbage and topped that with a wine crate.
Just for a little visual interest.
As usual, I have an evil plan for all of this.
Since this will be right off the patio, we're going to do a mix of edibles and decoratives, so we'll have flowers spilling out of the wine crate for visual interest.
The crate is also removable to replant and freshen up the display.
I apologized to the cilantro, which I always kill, and loaded it in the car, along with some sage and other goodies.
Sam says I'm a monster.
Now to plant the existing rootings, and start more.
Stem+leaves+water generally=free plant.
We have several to work on.
I found these placecard holders/bud vases at Goodwill.
These are PERFECT rooting vases.
If you're unfamiliar with the plant you cut, you can add a small card to the front identifying it.
We'll have baby herbs in two weeks.
Grab the gardening bag and meet me in the yard.
We'll have a gorgeous bed to show off tomorrow.
How neat! I had no idea you could root herb cuttings so easily, I am going to give it a try.
