Two Minutes, Five Bucks

Aqua poinsettias. With glitter. I know, right?
I'm not going to go nuts with them, relax, but I did have an idea.
Grab your lovely assistant, five blossoms from Walmart at $1 each, and a woefully unembellished lamp in need a little holiday kick.
Take the handy little clip on the back...
...and clip it to the lamp.
Repeat.
Nope, it's a wig. She's heavily into theater and design.
Honestly, the staging and costume took a whole lot longer than the craft.
Does this count as a craft?
Well, we're not going to dwell on that. I have a couple more things for you later, and in the meantime, you may want to jot these down on the shopping list. Walmart has a ton of fun colors.

  1. LOVE it! My bat lamp from Halloween is awfully naked. It could use a good holiday makeover.

  8. Those are awesome! They have all different colors, you say? I may have to swing by and pick some up - they could totally do anything from home decor to outfit accessory.

And I totally think this counts as a craft!

  11. Might I add that these clippy poinsettias are perfect for quick wreaths, too. My previous one was made with them, but I was too early for WM this year.
