Presenting...The Wall!

The reason I did not paint the wall is because I knew I'd be adding a good bit of tropical color,
and I really didn't want to over do it. We started with garden teepees in shades
of key lime, berry, and spa blue...
...with these little dangling fairy charms.
Then I tucked in my bright pink lettuce pots and some brain coral.
l
And remember all the veggies and herbs I potted a few weeks ago?
How's that for just enough color?
If you're here for the first time, the full tutorial on how to make this project is HERE
Good luck and have fun with it!

  3. I like that you opted not to paint it, it makes the greenery and all your bright pops of color really stand out.

  7. I really like the wall, and the supports! I'm doing a Square Foot Garden for the first time, and I think I may build similar teepees for the tomatoes and even melons. Although for melons I may need to get sturdier dowels... Great job!

  9. What a great use of space. We are thinking about putting a wall around the cement slab on the back of our house and this is a great way to add color and foliage to it. Thanks for the idea and thanks for linking up to my Transform Tuesday party. I can't wait to see what else you come up with!!

  21. I just found you and LOOOOOOVE what you're doing with those concrete blocks, sugar! I'd love to do it but that would involve talking Love Bunny (hubs of 49 years this week....squeeeeeeal!!) into another job on his, created by ME To-Do List! Not sure I can do that easily but I'll give it a try. Amazing idea, chick!!

    xoxo,

  33. What a clever use of cement blocks. I always enjoy "industrial" materials softened with plants and greenery. The way you built those layers is really incredibly clever.

    I'm impressed!

Thanks for this interesting stop on our little journey through Alphabe-Thursday's letter "W". It is wonderful to see you linked up.

If you can come up with something for the letter "X" and link again next week try and put a link back to the meme. It makes it easier for everyone to continue on their visits!

Hope to see you again soon!

    A+
