Renew and Repair

The bathroom light fixture, which I love, had a light heavy coating of soot that just would NOT come off.
I'm not about to replace it; besides, it's just perfect in the downstairs bath, which is all decked out in Key West memorabilia. After a good scrubbing, three coats of gloss white had it back to glistening perfection.

That got me busy hiding the fire damage from other things, including our wrought iron door mat.

I won't bore you with everything I repaint, but I'll be dragging ceiling fans and cabinets galore out here to my new carport work area. If I get crazy with any of them, I'll let you know. But I saw the contractor's estimate for new fixtures and such. I think that money can go right back in my pocket.

And a tiny bit of paint does wonders. Thank you to my lovely daughter for being paint prep crew.

  1. What a great light fixture! I don't blame you for wanting to rehab it! It looks good as new!
