Inspiration Point: Pottery Barn and West Elm

Shells are my thing. Growing up in North Carolina, we drove to our place at the beach almost every weekend and walked the stretch of sand gathering perfect examples of God's creativity. My mother knew the name every artifact we ran to retrieve. This almost looks like a table in my home with the pure white candles, sand and shells.
And I loved this.
The boys gave this sofa a quick test drive.
I fell hard for this outdoor set at West Elm. The rolling end table would be perfect for my laptop. I may have to make that...
But this is the display that stopped me in my tracks. The backdrop is simply pallets. Loading pallets. Like rough wood. Free on Craigslist. Come and get them. Am I coming up with ideas?
Oh yes.
